Changing the strain profile for cell stretching only requires exchanging the Teflon indenter (see image on right)
A circular indenter produces radial strain: ey = ex
A bar-shaped indenter produces close to linear strain: ey = 4ex
Custom indenter shapes for specific strain profiles are available
